Stealing Layouts and making a nursery

As always I am completely unhappy with the appearance of this blog.
It makes me not want to update it or do anything to it.
The past few weeks have been full of nesting delights. Coltrane, as our baby boy has been called is has become the inspiration for finishing our bedroom. This is the last space of to-do lists and spray painting projects. First things first we have lived in this place for a year and have had no full length mirror, how crazy. It's like having really no idea what you look like and just diving out into public with magenta and pin clashing all over the place. I dont really wear those two colors often but got forbid in this low mood lighting I confuse red and orange or wear blue socks with black pants. All very terrible fates indeed.
So Coltrane got us to put up a mirror, get a new/safer bed with storage - all be it too tall for our space but manageable and changeable. Ikea is extremely versatile in that respect and I have become a pretty good hacker of its flat packed madness.
Back to my little man on the way. Karen is growing and we have begun preparing, diappering class, and now 5 more weeks of childbirthing class. The real deal though has been setting up his room. We dont have much space but a 48sqft. walk in closet has become his own personal area. Blasted Ikea Lack shelves, fixing tons of holes in the walls from the previous owner and finding the right color were our challenges.
The big unveiling was this weekend as we had friends over for the 4th. Our little room was a huge success and at one point I really was hanging in there forgetting it was ever a closet. So as we progress through week 29 and I consider creating a real web page with a nice HTML layout.
