Everyone wants to know what we are doing tomorrow, I have totally forgotten that tomorrow is even happening. Except for not having that sick feeling of having to return to work on Monday Labor Day doesn't have the appeal it once used to. Of course I love a day off but in NY we have a west Indian Parade and that feeling is kind of lost here. Enough about tomorrow though cus today was really nice. Karen and I took a 2 mile urban hike from our house to Claire's where she was having a meatarific bday party. On the menu: Lamb sliders, short ribs, pork loin, drunken chicken, hot wings, and probably more I even forgot. Karen baked an awesome chocolate cake and Claire even showed me my new passion. Homemade french onion dip. So good I took a picture. I love french onion dip and the idea of making it from caramelized onions is just what I am looking for.
